About Me

Hi, I’m Mandy and I am a certified Coach. For a long time I have been interested in health and wellbeing, and the impact that our biology, psychology and social environment has on our lives. This interest led me to study psychology to postgraduate level. After this I worked on programmes aimed at improving public health and since 2014 I have been delivering consultancy services in the health service.

One of the reasons I was drawn to the field of coaching is because I have personal experience of stress and recognised the impact this had on my psychological and physical health. The theories, models and techniques put forward by cognitive behavioural coaching experts, resonated with me personally and I could see how this approach can help so many people to improve the quality of their lives.

Undergoing training in coaching has reinforced my views about the powerful interactions between our thoughts and beliefs, social environment, emotions, behaviours and physiology. Through coaching, I would now like to pass on what I have learnt to others. By changing the way that we think, we can genuinely transform how we experience our lives and how we interact with others.

Coaching Credentials

I received my coaching certification from the Centre for Coaching in London, which is approved by the British Psychological Society Learning Centre and the International Society for Coaching Psychology. As part of my continuing professional development, I am undertaking an Advanced Diploma in Coaching accredited by the Association for Coaching. This training takes a behavioural, cognitive-behavioural, rational emotive behavioural and solution-focused approach to psychological coaching and its application to life/personal, health, performance, business and executive coaching.

I hold Associate membership with both the Association for Coaching and the International Society for Coaching Psychology. I am a member of the British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology.

Code of Ethics

I adhere to the Association for Coaching’s Global Code of Ethics for Coaches, Mentors and Supervisors. This means that I am part of a global network of coaches who are dedicated to promoting best practice and standards of coaching.
