Moving out of my comfort zone – talking about my biggest lessons learnt whilst being a leader.
This video is part of a series of Leadership Insights interviews which were recorded for the QMUL MSc/PGDip/PgCert in Dental Public Health, Policy and Leadership Course.
In this section of the interview, I was asked: “What have been the biggest lessons that you have learned as a leader?” Here is an extract from my response.
The importance of being flexible, being open to new experiences, getting out of your comfort zone, being willing to learn new things and see things from different perspectives. This helps us to become resilient and able to adapt to change and challenging circumstances.
